Two Arrests after Skerries Cannabis Seizures

Dublin s Q102 By Mike Gilmore Gardaí seized over €120,000 of suspected cannabis in Skerries on Thursday evening. Around 6:45 on Thursday evening, members of the Divisional Crime Task Force DMR North, along with the Balbriggan Drugs Unit, carried out a search of a residence in the Mourne estate area of Skerries. Around €800 of cannabis was discovered, along with a weighing scales.  A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and has since been charged and released on bail.  In follow-up searches at another residence in the same area later that evening, a haul of €120,000 in cannabis was found in five large vacuum packed bags.
