The Fiji Police Force is urging members of the public to call 917 or their Divisional Command Centre if they want to report any breach happening in their communities.
This after 14 people were arrested for breach of health and curfew restrictions in the last 24-hours.
Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu said out of the 14 reports, eight involved juveniles under the age of 18 years.
He said four juveniles were arrested along Nakasi Road for failing to wear a mask.
“Four juveniles aged 15 and 16 years were arrested for social gathering as they were found drinking alcohol at a school compound in Narere,” A/CP Tudravu said.

Police requests businesses to link their CCTV cameras to the Divisional Command Centre

Police Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says a lot of businesses have CCTV capabilities in busy municipalities and they have made requests for their cameras to be linked to the Divisional Command Centre for increased coverage.
Khan says they are discussing ways of utilising available technology to curb criminal activities.
Police has made initial discussions with Shop and Save Supermarket on strengthening networking capabilities with the use of CCTV cameras mounted in and around their supermarket outlets.
