Karnataka: Private hospitals to reserve 50 per cent beds for COVID-19 patients in a week

During a meeting on Monday, the Minister said that private hospitals have been advised to vacate beds occupied by non-Covid patients who don t require hospitalisation and reserve the same for Covid patients. Private hospitals have agreed to reserve 50 per cent beds for Covid patients within a week. Patients without symptoms and with mild symptoms will be isolated in hotels and Covid care centres. Only patients with severe conditions will be treated at hospitals, Dr Sudhakar said.

Sudhakar K registered himself for donating his eyes and spread the message of its importance.
A walkathon was organised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in front of Vidhana Soudha. Minto Eye hospital too conducted a program to spread awareness regarding the importance of eye donation. Pledging to donate his eyes, Sudhakar appealed to the people to come forward and donate their eyes. Our donation may be a boon for others, he said. “This is a noble cause and everybody should register themselves to bring a ray of hope for others,” added the Minister.
