Havana, May 4 (Prensa Latina) During the opening here today of the first Habanos World Days event, tobacco authorities of this island declared 2021 as the Cohiba Year, for the 55 years of the brand. The co-presidents of the international corporation Habanos S.A., Inocente Núñez and Luis Sánchez-Harguindey Pardo de Vera, welcomed Premium cigar smokers who follow this call dedicated to Cuban tobacco from all continents.
Cohiba (1966-2021) is the first brand of cigars to emerge after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution in 1959, and it immediately became popular with cigar fans in this country.
