Savannah Brockhill, 27, of Hawthorn Close, Keighley, and Frankie Smith, 19, of Wesley Place, Halifax Road, Keighley, both plead not guilty to the charge. They also deny causing or allowing the death of the little girl. Star was taken to hospital on September 22 last year and pronounced dead a short time later. In October, Judge Tom Bayliss QC set a trial date of May 4 before a High Court Judge in Bradford. But Judge Jonathan Rose heard from prosecutor Richard Wright QC that an important report from an expert would not be ready.
