Ontario’s Regional Chief is running for national chief of Assembly of First Nations.
RoseAnne Archibald has launched her campaign and is banking on her 31 years of political experience.
“I have dedicated decades of proven leadership and experience. Like so many I believe it’s time for real and evolutionary changes within the AFN.”
She adds, “It’s time to make our First Nation political process in Canada more strategic. We will design and move our collective vision forward.”
Archibald has unveiled an ambitious agenda including:
-Rights recognition for First Nations
-Respecting the authority and autonomy of regions

MTN donates to Ashanti regional Chief Imam

Mobile Telecom giants MTN has donated assorted items to the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam.
The donation of the items is their goodwill gift towards their upcoming Eid celebration on Thursday.
Northern Sector General Manager for MTN, Nii Adotey Mingle who presented the items noted that the gesture was their way of partaking the celebration of the Regional Chief Imam and his people.
He announced that their compatriots in other parts of the country were doing same for the National Chief Imam, Northern and Western regional Chief Imams.

Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Regional Head of Programme (maternity cover) to be responsible for the overall strategy implementation and successful coordination of DRC programmes in West Africa.
DRC has been operating in West Africa since 1998. The DRC West Africa Regional Office (hereafter: WARO) is based in Dakar, Senegal, and covers six countries outside of Senegal. Led by the Regional Director, the DRC WARO oversees, supports and provides strategic directions for DRC’s Country Offices within the region, which currently includes Mali, Burkina Faso, the Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon and the Central African Republic.
They say there’s probably nothing that is impossible to achieve in life only if one decides to go under the grind, put every possible effort to make it huge in their areas of interest.
