Mercury to dip further
Dec 29: The mercury will take a slight dip and create chill in the air in the days to come, predicted the Regional Met office here. The cold wave is expected to continue till this weekend. In the city, there was no overcast sky, but the maximum temperature was recorded at 24.9 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was settled at 10.4 degrees Celsius. The humidity oscillated between 89 per cent and 80 per cent. There was cloud cover in the morning which disappeared by 9 am, making the situation favourable for residents. Agartalites seemed happy with the development, hoping to make the most of the winter. Citizens will brace up for chill as the mercury is expected to plummet by one to two degree Celsius in the coming days. The weatherman has predicted foggy mornings over the next few days.
