EVBox installs charging systems with Kingspan

EVBox installs charging systems with Kingspan EVBox Group will supply Kingspan with just over 60 AC and DC charging stations to help the building materials manufacturer convert its corporate fleet to electric vehicles. The installation project will begin in the UK and Ireland before expanding to other regions. Kingspan is a provider of insulation solutions for buildings based in Ireland. The company aims to convert its entire fleet to zero-emission powertrains by 2025. To build charging infrastructure at office and manufacturing sites, Kingspan has now signed an agreement with EVBox. The Dutch company will initially install a good 60 AC and DC charging stations at Kingspan’s so-called IKON Innovation Center and global headquarters in Ireland. DNV updates carbon capture and storage (CCS) recommended practice as the energy transition picks up the pace

The need to transport CO 2 is expected to increase significantly in the years to come as part of the widespread view that CCS is a viable means to reduce CO 2 emissions. DNV publishes CO2 pipeline guidance

An updated recommended practice, DNVGL-RP-F104 Design and operation of CO2 pipelines, has been published based on the results from the CO2SafeArrest joint industry project between Energy Pipelines CRC and DNV. The project involved two large-scale CO2 crack arrest tests being carried out on 24” pipelines to better understand the safety implications of CO2 releases. The testing was performed at the DNV Research and Development facility in UK.
