State College Little Lions vs. Cedar Cliff 1:34 am
In High School Baseball news, State College was back at Community Field Tuesday night. The Little Lions were looking to continue their momentum from last week as Cedar Cliff made their way to Centre County.
The Little Lions and the Colts meeting up on a sunny day. In the top of the 1st, Cedar Cliff with the bases loaded. Brady Ward grounds to short and scores Brandt Cook. It begins 1-0 Colts. Cedar Cliff still with the bases loaded. Garret Holzapfel strikes out Nick Skokowski to end the Inning.
In the bottom of the 1st, State College with 1 on. Matthew Lingenfelter pops up to short right. Skokowski makes a great diving catch. SC with 2 on and 2 out. Matt Allison doubles to left center and scores 2. State College holds onto the lead from there putting up two more, Winning 4-1 against Cedar Cliff.
Police: Detroit inmate freed because of virus shoots fiancée

DETROIT A Detroit man who was released early from prison because of the threat of COVID-19 has been charged with attempted murder in the shootings of his fiancée and her mother, authorities said.
Ronald Segars, 49, is accused of shooting them during a fight last week, The Detroit News reported.
Segars was serving a five-year federal sentence for drug and gun crimes when U.S. District Judge Arthur Tarnow released him in June and said he could return to Detroit on supervised release, which is a form of probation.
