Toledo Police Officer Brandon Stalker, killed in the line of duty on Jan. 18, is being remembered, honored and mourned by his loved ones, brothers and sisters in blue, the Toledo-area community and beyond on Tuesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio At his funeral, a local pipes and drums band will help give fallen Toledo police Ofc. Brandon Stalker the send-off he deserves. Never thought we d be here, Toledo Firefighters Pipes and Drums band drum major Gerry Mazur said.
The playing of bagpipes is a longstanding tradition underscoring the loss of police officers and firefighters in the line of duty. It s a tradition that will continue Tuesday as Ofc. Stalker is laid to rest.

The procession route for fallen Toledo Police Officer Brandon Stalker, killed last Wednesday in the line of duty, has been released. Road closures will begin at 6am Tuesday through late afternoon. The funeral begins at 10am Tuesday in Savage Arena, open to family and law enforcement only. To show your support, Toledo Police encourage you to line the procession route at noon Tuesday. The procession ends at Toledo Memorial Park for private services.

Brandon M. Stalker, age 24, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 18, 2021 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1996 to David and Cosette (Lowe) Stalker in Toledo. Brandon was a 2015 graduate of Whitmer High School. He played baseball throughout high school and travel ball. Brandon went on after school to coach Whitmer baseball and was a mentor to many kids. He had a huge heart and was always helping o
