Now in its fourth season, Search Party follows the four self-absorbed 20-somethings through the search, a murder, a trial, and a kidnapping. The group is needy, self-obsessed, and foolish all at the same time but somehow you re still rooting for them. Shawkat is fantastic as the lead, a lost woman who doesn t know what her next step in life should be living with a lot of what-ifs and if-onlys. The dark comedy is a wild ride through a whole lot of poor decision-making and insufferable self-absorption, and it takes some pretty crazy turns I absolutely wasn t expecting, especially in this latest season.
