A man accused of stabbing his Fairfield County brother-in-law to death after allegedly breaking up a fight between the victim and his wife has been ordered held on a $1 million bond.
Jahleel Bailey, age 22, of Staten Island, waived extradition from New York on Wednesday, Feb. 3, and was sent back to Bridgeport to face murder charges.
Bailey is accused of killing Brandon Goode, of Bridgeport, who was found dead around 7:25 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 13, after Bridgeport Police responded to 242 Harral Ave., for a reported assault, said Scott Appleby, director of the Office of Emergency Management.
When officers arrived on the scene they found the 26-year-old man suffering from wounds to his lower extremities, said Bridgeport PD Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.

BRIDGEPORT - A New York man, accused of fatally stabbing his brother-in-law after allegedly breaking up a fight between the victim and his wife, was ordered held in lieu of $1 million bond Wednesday.
Jahleel Bailey, 22, of Staten Island, N.Y., waived extradition from New York and was brought back to Bridgeport and charged with murder and carrying a dangerous weapon.
Bailey is accused of fatally stabbing 29-year-old Brandon Goode on Dec. 13.
Police said officers, responding to a call of a dispute on Harral Avenue, found Goode lying in the street in a pool of blood. He was pronounced dead at St. Vincent’s Medical Center from multiple stab wounds to the lower extremities, police said.

United States Marshals have arrested a man in connection with a brutal homicide late last year in Fairfield County.
Jahleel Bailey, 22, was arrested early Monday, Jan. 11, on Staten Island, for the murder of Brandon Goode, of Bridgeport on Monday, Dec. 13, said the Bridgeport Police Lt. Christopher LaMaine.
Goode, 26, was found after police responded to an area near 242 Harral Ave., LaMaine said.
Responding officers located Goode in front of 250 Harral Avenue suffering from wounds to his lower extremities. He was transported by medics to St. Vincent s Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Bailey, who was arrested on a warrant obtained by Detective WinklerAn arrest warrant had been obtained by Detective Robert Winkler charging Bailey with the homicide of Goode, who was married to Bailey’s sister.
