Your pre-travel checklist may be about to get longer as airlines and companies look to implement vaccine passport requirements.
The Common Trust Network, a partnership between airlines, the World Economic Forum and the non-profit The Commons Project, recently introduced the CommonPass App. The app would allow users to upload medical data such as COVID-19 test results or proof of vaccination. The information is then transmitted through a QR code that would protect sensitive information.
Users could also utilize the app to go shopping or go to the movies, depending on the requirements for different businesses and venues.

Jetblue Expands Testing Options for Customers Over the Holidays and Into 2021

JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) today announced a new seamless testing and verification procedure for customers traveling to Aruba as the airline, the Aruban government, CommonPass, and the airline’s at-home testing partner, Vault, set plans to work together to streamline travel. Beginning in early 2021, JetBlue customers traveling to Aruba will be able to secure a test from home before travel using Vault’s supervised at-home PCR testing, results will then be securely provided to the customer and confirmation securely sent to CommonPass. Upon entry in Aruba, authorities will simply scan a CommonPass QR code from the customer’s mobile device, proving entry testing requirements have been satisfied.
Northeastern School District plans to have students work from home on snow days, but they will have an early dismissal so they don t miss out on playing in the snow, Supt. Stacey Sidle said during a recent school board meeting.
Sidle said that some of her happiest memories from childhood was when she had a snow day. The administrative team talked about whether they were taking too much away from the children and settled on an early dismissal. Everybody loves a snow day, but nobody loves it back in the spring when you have to do a make-up day, she said.
