Brad Crouch has a depressed fracture of the cheekbone, but it still expected to play next week.
The St Kilda recruit, who has found form in recent weeks, clashed heads with Geelong’s Tom Atkins at Marvel Stadium last night and had a visible dent in the side of his face.
Crouch will this week undergo a procedure where the bone is effectively popped back out. Saints veteran Jarryn Geary had the same injury last year and was able to play the following week.
It’s understood Crouch knew straight away he had a fracture, given it’s not the first time he has had the injury.
