Business U.S. 60 (West Pine Blvd.) will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform roadside work. This section of road is located between Business U.S. 60/67 (Westwood Blvd.) and Second Street in Poplar Bluff. Weather permitting, crews will be working on
Monday, Feb. 1 through Friday, Oct. 1 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Jackson crews will be working throughout the city to re-stripe roads to improve visibility for drivers. Weather permitting, crews will be working from
May through June. Warning signs, flashing lights and barricades will be in place. Drivers are urged to use caution.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that work hours have been adjusted for a 12.3-mile resurfacing project on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County.
The contractor has been working weekly throughout the project limits from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights, according to a press release. Lane closures not to exceed four miles in length are implemented during work hours. Due to increasing traffic volumes, work hours now will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning.
Weather delays opening of improved ramps on I-81 in Cumberland County

Both northbound and southbound ramps on I-81 near Route 174 in Cumberland County aren’t going to reopen as planned, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Detours have been extended into next week and mid-May, officials said. Weather conditions have slowed down construction crews that are working on reconstructing and widening ramps.

The ramp to I-81 southbound was closed on April 13 and is expected to open on April 28, according to PennDOT. Motorists are being detoured via the ramp from Route 174 to northbound I-81, exit at Route 233/ Newville (Exit 37), then south on I-81.
