Project Sparkle On was founded by 10-year-old Layla Gainer.
The group is encouraging other kids to grab their markers and papers and create letters with a heartwarming message for our troops in the Middle East. This is all part of their Dear Soldier Crusade.
If you’d like to send a letter there are drop-off locations at the Blades Town Hall, Family Dollar on Central Avenue in Laurel, the Frankford Public Library, and Abbott’s on Broad Creek in Laurel. Letters can also be mailed to 32554 Bi State Blvd, Laurel, De 19956.
“I like to see everyone in the world happen and that’s my dream to have kindness all around the world and see everyone have a smile on their face,” said the Project Sparkle On Founder Layla Gainer.
