Guwahati: The pink bus service for women and senior citizens of
the Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) in Guwahati has begun from Saturday (January 9).
Ashok Bhattaraya, chairman of ASTC on Tuesday inspected the movement of the pink bus to check whether women passengers are facing any problems.
Women and senior citizens are happy with the new free bus service of ASTC and they urged not to stop the service after a few days.
