11-week-old French Bulldog named Carol needs surgery and a new home this holiday season

An 11-week-old French Bulldog needs help getting a surgery and new home after being surrendered to MSPCA-Angell’s Boston adoption center last Thursday.
“Her previous owners decided that the surgery and aftercare she would require was more than they could take on,” MSPCA said.
The puppy suffers from a broken front left elbow and will have surgery on Christmas Eve, “during which an internal steel implant will be installed to hold her bones in place to facilitate healing.”
The surgery and after-care costs more than $5,000, so the nonprofit has been asking for donations to help cover the expenses.

A dog is for life, not just for Christmas, is the message from Chairman of Kilkenny County Council, Andrew McGuinness who is calling on the people of Kilkenny to be extra cautious this year if considering buying a dog for Christmas.
