The Brighton City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to approve a new pilot program that will allow some residents to keep miniature goats on their properties, according to a release.
Those who participate will have to meet certain terms:
Only disbudded female miniature goats will be allowed (The size limit is 24.5 inches tall at the withers (that s the ridge between the animal s shoulder blades, in case you were wondering).

A Pittsburgh man has been charged with heading a gun and drug trafficking operation, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced Friday.
Dennis Alexander, 28, allegedly oversaw the sale of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, Oxycodone and stolen guns.
The Office of the Attorney General worked with the New Brighton Police Department and Pittsburgh police on the investigation, which lasted 10 months.
It culminated in a search warrant conducted Jan. 21 where, authorities say, officers found drugs and a stolen gun at a property allegedly associated with Alexander.

BRIGHTON, Mich. – Two of five men suspected of robbing a T-Mobile store
in Brighton were arrested after the group
led a pursuit involving seven different police departments to East Lansing, according to authorities.
Five men walked into the T-Mobile store at 8712 West Grand River Avenue in Brighton around 1 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The men forced employees to the back room, where the men gained access to cellphones, iPads and other electronic devices,
No weapons were seen or implied during the robbery, and nobody was injured, police said.
