A teenage boy was arrested Thursday after police say he attacked a school resource officer at Brighton High School and tried to grab the officer s gun. A parent helped deploy a Taser on the teen.

BRIGHTON, N.Y. Counselors are on hand at Brighton High School on Tuesday following the death of a student who was on a trip to South America.
Superintendent Kevin McGowan says Sophomore Josh Ulloa died in a motorcycle accident while vacationing with his family in Ecuador.
McGowan says Josh was an avid soccer player and a member of the school s soccer team.
Varsity soccer coach Adam Hiller released a statement saying Josh. Had a love for his teammates and played with fire and tenacity.
