Police have reopened locked-down streets around a Gold Coast primary school as the manhunt continues for a man wanted over a domestic violence incident.
Police have identified the 37-year-old man as Mark Lutgenau, who was believed to be armed with a firearm. However, there is no known specific threat against members of the community.
Call Triple Zero if you see Mark Lutgenau, 37. Do not approach him.
A police spokesman said the domestic violence incident occurred on Monday night at Gannon Way, Upper Coomera, where a Mr Lutgenau fled officers who attended.
Police said nobody was physically harmed.
On Tuesday morning, police negotiators were at an address near Ormeau State School in search of the man.

Officers were called to a home in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast on Monday night following reports of a disturbance, before the man fled the scene.
No one was injured, but an exclusion zone was established by police on Tuesday which includes Ormeau State School in Pimpama.
