Syracuse, N.Y. - On the first Sunday of May, the Comets took a trip to Syracuse to face the Crunch in the first of their final nine games of the 2020-2021 AHL season.
Sunday marked the tenth meeting between the Galaxy Cup series rivals. Utica won its two last game including a 2-1 overtime win over Syracuse. But this season, the Comets have folded under the bright lights inside Upstate Medical Arena. Their most recent and only win in Syracuse was on February 27, 2021.

The delayed grand final of the BBC’s annual, wide-ranging music contest for under-18s is screened from Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic, conducted by Mark Wigglesworth. Following Friday’s semi-final, Anna Lapwood presents the three finalists’ performances, along with saxophonist and 2016 finalist Jess Gillam, broadcaster Josie d’Arby, and BBC Young Musician 1980 winner Nicholas Daniel. The judging panel is chaired by Angela Dixon and features turntable artist Shiva Feshareki.

Ion Cuteleba was up to no good again at the UFC Vegas 25 staredowns.
The light heavyweight apparently couldn’t wait until fight night to get a hold of opponent Dustin Jacoby. Following Friday’s official weigh-ins, Cutelaba grabbed onto the back of Jacoby’s neck when they faced off, causing Jacoby to shove him and security to step in to separate the fighters.

This isn’t the first time that Cutelaba has made the most of his camera time before fight night. “The Hulk” has previously shown up covered in green paint for the weigh-ins and he got uncomfortably close with rival Magomed Ankalaev when they faced off in the past.
