A poll of Bulgarians shows that 58.9% of
approve of the caretaker government that has been in charge since May, while 28.8% expressed their disapproval, according to the latest findings of Gallup International Balkan’s monthly research programme, announced on Sunday.
President Rumen Radev retains his place as the most liked figure in the Bulgarian political process and research showed that confidence in him has been growing in recent months, most probably due to the actions of the caretaker cabinet that is appointed by him.
Negative answers to the question “in general, where is Bulgaria going“ have prevailed for decades, but in recent months their shares have been declining and beginning to return to pre-COVID and political crisis levels. Now 26.3% say the country is getting better, compared to 52% who say it is getting worse.
