He was arrested shortly before 6:30 p.m. when he surrendered to law enforcement.
Dalton was wanted on three grand larceny charges, two breaking and entering charges and one charge of destruction of property.
A man has barricaded himself inside of a home in Pittsylvania County, according to the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said investigators tried to arrest Paul Michael Dalton outside of a home on Strawberry Road, and when they arrived they said they found him outside the house with a gun.
