DANBURY A local chef is competing in a global contest to be featured as Bon Appetit Magazine’s “Favorite Chef.”
Tom Devine, the chef at Two Steps Downtown Grille, is in the first round of the online competition, where the winner receives $20,000 and is featured in a two-page advertising spread in the magazine.
“It s awesome to be a local representative in this contest,” Devine said in an email. “We’d like to win to show that everyday food can be approachable and doesn t have to be complex to be delicious.”
