We’re all feeling COVID exhaustion. Restrictions, masks and distancing has an effect on us all. It’s difficult to find the time, but we all need to practice self-care. Take a walk, plan a workout or participate in a bit of online retail therapy (many of our local businesses now offer curbside pickup). My favourite kind of self-care? Getting into a good book. One that is uplifting is even better during these stressful times. Here are some suggestions for life-affirming stories filled with joy, kindness, humor, heroism, hope, empathy, compassion, and love.
