Bixby Releases Back-To-School Plans With Staggered Start
Many Oklahoma school districts are gearing up for the first day of school, which is just a few weeks away.
Bixby Public Schools just released its plans for a staggered start to the beginning of the school year but said plans could change.
Bixby said although it is monitoring cases closely, the staggered start is not because of COVID-19. Staff said they re doing this to help parents and students get adjusted to the new year. It s going to bring back the whole sense of community in our school and being able to invite our families back in our classrooms again will be wonderful, said Bixby North First Grade Teacher, Stephanie Parker.
