Maharashtra govt fights to curb Covid crisis, imposes fresh lockdowns, rules | Top Developments
The Maharashtra government on Thursday announced a slew of new Covid guidelines including lockdowns in Yavatmal and Amaravati and stricter curbs in Mumbai in a bid to control the new surge of coronavirus cases.

The Maharashtra government on Thursday announced a slew of new Covid guidelines including lockdowns across various regions in the state in a bid to curb the new surge of coronavirus cases.
While the first round for the healthcare staff was supposed to be done by February 14 and the second round was to begin on February 16, the missing names, numbers and other details have crossed the deadlines.

Ahmedabad: 1,000 National Security Guard and Central Industrial Security Force personnel were provided Covid vaccine in a day in the city.
Around 200 students of BJ Medical College, affiliated to the city’s Civil Hospital, were among 642 healthcare staff inoculated at the centre. Eight vaccination centres were set up by the hospital administration at the city airport for vaccinating CISF personnel.
Those inoculated on the campus included 164 police personnel. Dr K.J. Upadhyay, HoD of medicine at BJ Medical College received the jab. He had earlier given the vaccine a miss, saying he was saving the vaccine for someone who requires it more as he had contracte
