Expect delays and detours this weekend in Grapevine.
Construction continues on the $371-million Interstate 635-State Highway 121 Interchange project with the following closures beginning Friday night and lasting until 6 a.m. Monday.
Here are the areas of impact, according to the city of Grapevine:
Bass Pro Ramp Closures

Not in Mesa.
Neighbors heatedly oppose a request by a developer for an office building and garage near Riverview that Mesa City Council is scheduled to vote on at its virtual meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday, March 15.
The key word in the last sentence is âscheduled.â
The developerâs request was introduced at the March 1 council meeting. Though Council did not vote on the matter, several people who live near the 30-acre office park at Alma School Road and Bass Pro Drive vehemently demanded the elected officials reject the plan.
Shawna Boyle said the plan for a three-story office building and four-story parking garage not only would wreck views, it would also violate âa written agreement ⦠from 2007 that promised residents all the buildings would not be any taller than two stories.â

SPANISH FORT – After months of effort to bring an Amazon distribution facility to Spanish Fort, city officials are looking at new uses for property on Bass Pro Drive after the company announced that it was considering an alternate site.
Mayor Mike McMillan said Spanish Fort confirmed that Amazon’s plans had changed on Monday just before the city’s Planning Commission was scheduled to vote to rezone the proposed site.
“We started getting calls on Monday,” McMillan said Tuesday. “They said they were looking at doing something different, maybe 1 million square feet, which they couldn’t do out there.”
