Officials: Palmyra building partially collapses causing gas leak

PALMYRA, Wis. - A Town of Palmyra building partially collapsed Saturday morning, Jan. 16 causing a gas leak.
According to Palmyra Public Safety, authorities including the Jefferson County Sherriff s Office were called out to a farm on WIS-59 around 6:45 a.m. The building was occupied at the time.
Those inside were able to exit the 60,000 square foot building on their own. Everyone who was injured was treated and released on scene.

Palmyra Public Safety and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said they were first dispatched to a report of an occupied building collapse at W2024 State Highway 59 and encountered the building partially collapsed.
All employees were able to leave the facility on their own and all injured parties were treated and released on scene.
