TALLINN - Tallinn University and Estonian nonprofit MTU Mondo have signed a framework agreement according to which the two parties are to cooperate in the planning and implementation of development cooperation and awareness raising projects as well as in the organization of instruction and apprenticeships.
MTU Mondo in cooperation with experts from Tallinn University have adapted a course on digital competences, which was initially developed for Estonia, for use in refugee camps and in post-crisis education and Tallinn University employees have organized teacher training courses on digital competences in Lebanon and Jordan. Experts from Tallinn University s School of Digital Technologies have developed ICT modules for Mondo s Global Education Center, trained school teachers in the Luhansk area in Ukraine as well as provided advice to Mondo with regard to the establishment of an IT center

A member of the ethnic Nenets people, she depends on reindeer for shelter, food, clothing and transportation. While snowstorms rage outside, the family cooks, eats, sleeps and plays in the one, tiny room.
