Ashton Clark, Jake Thomas hired as new head coaches at Heritage

Heritage High School went to a familiar face to lead its boys basketball team.
Ashton Clark, a 2009 Heritage High graduate and currently a counselor at the school, has been hired as the head coach for the Timberwolves.
Clark previously served as interim head coach in 2018. Nathan Younger served as the interim coach this past season after Brian Childs stepped down shortly before the season.
Clark is a 2014 graduate of Eastern Washington, where he played football. He has been working on the coaching staffs of the football and basketball teams at Heritage for the past four years.

FERGUSON, Mo. A confetti-covered parking lot is the first clue that the graduation ceremony at St. Louis Community College s Florissant Valley campus might be an alternative version caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Graduates arrived by car and then got out to walk across a makeshift stage. It had all the pomp and circumstance of a traditional graduation, plus the appeal of a tailgate party.
