Loan shark Vincent Hamilton has been ordered to repay £70,000 or face more jail time - after he illegally lent cash to dozens of debt-riddled clients.
The 57-year-old had 31 clients with debts totalling £38,000 and profited by charging them 30 per cent interest.
CHRISTEYNS UK has helped one of the country s best known boarding schools meet its environmental goals with a new water filtering system. The Bradford-based laundry chemical and engineering specialist Christeyns UK has come to the aid of Eton College in Windsor. In 2017 the college cut its energy costs by replacing lamps and fixtures that led to a reduction in their carbon footprint by 61 per cent. Earlier this year the college tackled the issue of water saving with the installation of a new storage and filtering system, Lint X. MORE than 3,000 fly-tipping incidents were recorded in just nine months in Cheshire East last year, new data shows. The figures, released after a freedom of information request from the Local Democracy Reporting Service, show where the borough’s fly-tipping hotspots are with Middlewich seeing 23 fly-tips. Now, the council says it has developed a ‘new fly-tipping policy’ to combat the problem which it attributes to ‘poor domestic waste management’.
