Tynedale Methodist Circuit will welcome back congregations in Hexham, Haltwhistle, Haydon Bridge, Wark, and Allendale. It follows the success of online worship during the most recent lockdown. Superintendent Minister the Rev. Paul Dunstan said: “We are delighted to be at the stage where people can physically meet in worship once again. The pandemic has been an incredibly challenging time for everybody, but I have been greatly encouraged at the number of people who have taken the opportunity to join in our online services and bible study meetings. As we open some of our Methodist churches, people can rest assured that every step is being taken to ensure they can worship together in Covid-safe environments.”

David Goodall has been a familiar face within the Tynedale Methodist Circuit over the past six-and-a-half years. During that time, he has served at Hexham and in Slaley, where he helped a struggling congregation grow into a thriving church community. David reflected on his time in the district before departing to start his new role, as missional communities enabler within the Leeds Methodist District.
