About four per cent of Cold Lake residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
As of press time Sunday, there were 26 active COVID-19 cases in the city. Per capita that is 131 cases per 100,000 people, according to statistics collected by Alberta Health Services.

Later on this afternoon, and then we ll end up having gusts pick on up, as well as the threat for rain and storms later on tonight. So as we head through the day today, we re going to continue to watch this cold front pushed towards the east. The cloud cover will overtake the region later on this morning and into the first half of the afternoon again, a very strong southerly winds gusting at times between 15 to 30 miles an hour. And as this front gets closer to the Magnolia State, we could possibly see gusts even higher than that between 20 to 40 miles an hour at times. Now again, we ll stay on the dry note for the first half of the day. A few isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm or two can t be ruled out before the dinner
