A Carlow/Kilkenny TD and former Minister of State has said a new headquarters for the new Technological University of the South East “absolutely” should – and will be – located in Waterford.
John Paul Phelan told Deise Today this morning that in his view, someone was playing “silly beggars” on the issue and he maintained that political representatives in this region all want the headquarters to be here.
“It’s a bit like the councillors in Waterford putting down motions about boundaries again. There is someone playing silly beggars here and I don’t know who it is,” he said.
