The last time Paulo Santos traveled between two hospitals, critically ill with COVID-19, he was transported by ambulance, his survival very much in doubt.
On Saturday, exactly one year since returning home, Santos will recreate his journey by running about 20 miles from CentraState Medical Center in Freehold to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
