Cops also booked a woman who was allegedly working with the arrested accused to lure needy people by offering such loans. The case was registered with Chinchwad police on Thursday, based on a complaint given by a woman, after which the arrests were made on the same day. The nabbed persons have been identified as Govind Kisanrao Sawant, a resident of Chikhali, and Gautam Shirsath, a resident of Kirkatwadi. Police have slapped them with charges of molestation under sections 354A and 354D, and cheating under 420, besides other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
