Palliser Ridge Luxury Lambs Wool Blanket Wool is an insulting yet breathable fabric, perfect for keeping you snug as the weather cools. Palliser Ridge’s blankets, $250, are made in New Zealand with wool grown on their South Wairarapa farm. Their products meet the Responsible Wool Standard, a globally-recognised accreditation which ensures the welfare of the sheep and the land that they graze on.
Palliser Ridge also uses Zoom to engage its board members, who are scattered around the world. “The technology we use is free. It’s definitely an awesome way to streamline a business that’s no cost to us really.” The farm maintains a shared calendar of activity, which includes details of what stock needs to be shifted, and to where. “Everyone knows the simple way of communicating what needs to be done, or what has been done.” “We’ve got so many staff looking after the animals, I need to know whereabouts they are and how fast they are being moved.”
