UPDATE 11.30am: An elderly woman was taken to hospital after she was encapsulated in her vehicle following a crash at Buderim.
The woman was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for observation.
She was in a stable condition.
EARLIER: Emergency services crews are working to assist an elderly woman encapsulated in her vehicle which crashed into a pole at Buderim.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews responded to reports of a woman trapped after a single-vehicle crash at the corner of Ballinger and Dixon roads, Buderim.
Crews responded about 10.40am and arrived at 10.45am.
A QFES spokesman said the woman was encapsulated but not trapped.
