GRANTS totalling over £200k are being distributed to charities, community and voluntary organisations to support vulnerable people. The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) has been working in partnership with the National Emergencies Trust, to distribute grants totalling £200,281 to 47 groups across the South. Funding is being used to support the services and resources of organisations to help vulnerable people experiencing tough times as a result of the pandemic. A total of two grants have been distributed in Eastleigh, five in the New Forest, six in Southampton, one in Test Valley and two in Winchester. Parklife Community Café in in Southampton has been awarded funding of £5k to help distribute emergency food seven to those isolating to stay safe.
