The Fountain Hills Music Festival is back after a year where events and activities were canceled due to the pandemic.
On Saturday, April 10, from 4 to 9:30 p.m., the hills will be alive with live musical performances from four bands, each with their unique style and genre. Performances will range from âtrue 80sâ pop-rock to indie rock. The festival will be held in Fountain Park.
The bands performing for the Music Festival are 4 to 5 p.m., Mike Eldred Trio with special guest Big Nick. Eldred was voted one of the best guitarists in Americana /Roots/Blues music. The Mike Eldred Trio is a roots âSuper-Bandâ with Eldred (formerly with Stray Cat Lee Rocker) and John Bazz and Brian Fahey from The Blasters and The Paladins.

NSW harvest strategies – have your say! 14 January 2021
HARVEST strategies are a key component of modern fisheries management across Australia and in other parts of the world.
NSW DPI says, the introduction of harvest strategies for NSW fisheries will provide a robust and transparent framework for future decision making, including the determination of total allowable catch and effort levels and recreational bag and size limits.
The NSW Government has released a draft policy and guidelines to steer the development of formal harvest strategies for NSW Fisheries.
Harvest strategies will be drafted by working groups comprised of an independent chair, independent scientist and independent economist, along with representatives from the commercial, recreational and Aboriginal fishing sectors, as well as DPI.
