Special to the Times-News/Narnia Studios Every July for the past 24 years, Chalk It Up! has transformed the sidewalks of downtown Hendersonville into an outdoor art museum. And this year, the 25th anniversary, looks to be no different.  The event was created by Barbara Hughes, owner of Narnia Studios, after being inspired by her three children drawing on the sidewalk in front of her store. Now, 25 years later, what began with 150 artists of all ages, a handful of chalk and a little imagination has turned into one of the most beloved events of the summer. For those wishing to attend for the first or the 25th time, the event will be held Saturday, July 17 at 9 a.m., with rain dates of July 24 and July 31.
