Credit Union employee COVID positive

Less than 24 hours after the Barbados Public Workers’ Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (BPWCCUL) took the bold step to facilitate COVID-19 testing of all its employees, it has uncovered at least one positive case of the infectious viral illness.
Yesterday,
Barbados TODAY broke the news that BPWCCUL, the island’s largest credit union with over 95 000 members, had taken the unprecedented step of seeking to test all its employees as a precautionary measure.
The testing, which was conducted by a private medical facility at the Belmont Road, St Michael headquarters and the Emerald City, St Philip branch on Monday and Tuesday, revealed one COVID-19 positive employee and suspicions of possibly more.
