Pine Bluff still seeing effects from historical flooding in 2019

PINE BLUFF, Ark. In 2019, the only way to access the Island Harbor Marina was by boat.
Things look a lot different now, but Bart Moore is one of many residents who s still trying to get their lives back to normal.
He vividly remembers how bad the floodwaters impacted the home he lived in for almost 30 years.
“June of 2019, on this day approximately, the water was four feet deep in my old house,” Moore said. “When the water went down, there was nothing to save my house.”

A historical home in Napa Valley known as the Ink House â where Elvis Presley stayed during the filming of âWild in the Countryâ in 1960 â is on the market for $6.95 million, according to Compass real estate firm.
The stunning property at 1575 St. Helena Highway, St. Helena, is the former home of early Napa Valley settler and agriculturist Theron Ink. Updated with an amazing interior design and beautiful renovation in 2017 by celebrated architect Howard Backen, the property is currently home to a luxurious boutique inn.
The two-story Italianate house, built in 1885, spans 4,660 square feet with six bedrooms and eight-plus bathrooms on a 1.23-acre lot. The price tag includes the homeâs furniture and artwork, according to a Compass representative.
