ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) Rochester Police have identified the man who was shot and killed in a home on New Year s Eve.
Police say, William Lewis McBride, 61, suffered one gunshot wound to his upper body when somebody fired an excess of a dozen gunshots into a home on Bardin Street from outside the home. Despite the multiple rounds, only McBride was hit, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) A man was shot and killed on Bardin Street and Minder Street on Rochester s northwest side on New Year s Eve.
Police say a man was shot when a bullet penetrated his home on the 100 block of Bardin Street a little after 6 p.m. Thursday. Police say a total of 15 shots were fired.
They say they found a man in his 60s with a gunshot wound in the upper body. AMR attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
