A new book delving into some of Dissâ past glories has been released by the townâs museum manager.
Experienced author Basil Abbott, 71, of Victoria Road in Diss, has had a succession of short stories published over the years â and is hoping his latest effort, Call Back the Past: Giving a Buzz to History, will keep the museum very much in the public eye.
Mr Abbott, who edited the town guide for 30 years and was a Diss Express reporter in the 1970s, said: âIt is a collection of articles that were inspired by Diss Museum activities.
