Independent travel buying group CT Partners has welcomed two NSW travel agencies to its network.
The two newest members are Frontier Travel, a corporate and premium leisure agency based in North Sydney; and Landmark Travel, a long-established premium leisure and cruise specialist based in Manly.
Roland Howlett, director of Frontier Travel, said: “What attracted me to join CT Partners was their transparency, flexible offering and the ability to have direct and enhanced relationships with key suppliers.
“It was an easy decision in the end and the perfect solution for our business.”
Landmark Travel’s Gerd Wilmer said: “I look forward to again being able to determine my own destiny with a group of like-minded agents.”

Matt Masson has been appointed as the new chief executive of CT Partners, following the death of
Masson joins CT Partners with over 10 years of senior management experience in tourism and hospitality.
This included two years as general manager at McLachlan Travel Group, two years as group managing director of Buffalo Tours in Singapore, and six years with Trails of Indochina in Ho Chi Minh City, where he was chief operating officer and CEO.
CT Partners chairman Barry Mayo said Masson’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the industry.
“Like everyone in the industry, we are waiting for a clear roadmap from the government, as we are confident there is a huge amount of pent-up demand,” Mayo said.

Australian independent travel buying group CT Partners has announced the addition of another two new high-profile Victoria-based members.
The two latest members are where2travel, a family-owned, multi-location business with stores in Malvern, Glen Waverley and Greensborough; and Benalla Travel, another family-owned, award-winning travel company located 212 kilometres north-east of Melbourne.
The addition of where2travel and Benalla Travel comes after CT Partners announced
CT Partners chairman Barry Mayo (pictured above) said: “Both where2travel and Benalla Travel were motivated by the simplicity and transparency of the CT Partners business model, with 100 per cent of all supplier payments distributed through to members.
