The Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights Alvick Maharaj says that while going into communities for consultations on three Electoral Bills, the Committee has been accused of showing their faces only because the general election is near. Maharaj and Committee Members, Doctor Salik Govind, Rohit Sharma, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua and Mosese Bulitavu have been going around the country for consultations on Electoral Registration of Voters Amendment Bill 2020, Electoral Amendment Bill 2020 and Political Parties Registration Funding and Disclosure Amendment Bill 2020.
About 30% of voters did not vote in the last elections and if they vote, then they can change a lot of things – Maharaj
