Bharat Bhushan inaugurates Wheat Procurement Centre

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, May 3: Hailing the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi for initiating farmer friendly initiatives, DDC Jammu Chairman, Bharat Bhushan Bodhi has asserted that the Union Government stands committed to provide MSP to farmers without any mediator to ensure that they get reasonable rates for their produce. He said that such initiatives are bound to usher in a new dawn of economic prosperity for the food producers across the nation. He stated this during a function after inaugurating a Wheat Procurement Centre at border Village Trewa in RS Pura here, today. Addressing a limited gathering present on the occasion, Bharat Bhushan said that the procurement centre has been opened with a view to provide MSP to farmers at their door step. He further informed that this particular centre will benefit the farmers of 20 Panchayats and 50 villages of Block Arnia.
